Many other bird species brood within the nature sanctuary. Some of the more important species include:
common reed bunting, tree pipit, Eurasian reed warbler, marsh warbler, common whitethroat, white-spotted bluethroat.
The lapwing has long since disappeared from the area as a breeding bird. Observations of a pair with two chicks in 2015 gave reason to hope that this beautiful bird is once again returning to our nature sanctuary.
Of the marsh and water birds, the most noteworthy are: great crested and little grebe, mallard ducks, Eurasian coot, pochard and tufted ducks, Eurasian teal, and white swan.
